Drop Trooper with Demo Charge

The Tyranids or the Orks would be the ones to "Win" 40k. By "Win" I mean kill everything else.
Orks are so massive in number that if they were to make one massive Waaaagh! it would pretty much wipe out everything. No SM chapter, IG regiment, or anything at all could stand against billions of blood thirsty dakka-spewing orks. Stuff would die faster that it could kill the orks, and more and more orks would join the Waaaaagh! until it was just a massive ball of orks killing everything.
Likewise just one tyranid hive-fleet can devour systems and sectors in only months. They also gain troops through killing other things, meaning that they technically would be the perfect thing to kill previously mentioned orks. They are renowned for wiping out life from whole galaxies after all, right?
So yep, feel free to discuss your views on who would "Win" 40k.

An entire society spanning thousands of light years worships a dead guy in a golden throne by killing alien races with genetically mutated supersoldiers dressed in bright blue and gold armor.
And they call religions today stupid. |

agreed, but to a certain point! the tyranids can become more and more through killing and devouring but the orks have more technology and if enough orks believe that they have a super blasta-masta-gorka-morka weapont that can kill all bugs....then bb nids'

Pfff enough of your heretical ramblings. Were is your faith in humanity? Seriously they have been waging war for 10 thousand years and have the resources of pretty much the entire galaxy at their disposal. plus you know, GW will never advance the plot line so there will never be a winner.

Fafnir wrote:Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that. |

Yeah, after the latest fluff that was written by an eloquent 12 year old, the cannon has made it pretty clear that the galaxy survived the first wave through sheer unbelievable luck; and that was just yhe scouting party etc.

Right behind you. No, really.

The nidz would win. They have destroyed countless other galaxies.
There are untold billions of hive fleets across the universe, and we have trouble with a few.
Whenever they kill, they get stronger.
They can adapt to counter any new pesticide or supergun or whatever.

Personally i believe the IoM would rather destroy the entire galaxy rather than let it fall into enemy hands... so galaxy sized doomsday weapon project is a go.

There will be no winner in the end. Because GW has made everyone to be the equal strength due to their possibilities (except Necrons) so...
I still vote for Humanity, because in the most difficult situations Humans have survived and kick some serious ass. Humanity have on it's side the most powerful think in universe - dumb luck. Tell me if I am wrong?

For Emperor and Imperium!!!!
None shall stand against the Crusade of the Righteous!!!
