Hi,
Schleich is a German company maybe best known for its smurf miniatures, but also producing animals and medieval/fantasy stuff. Some items are excellent terrain for Warhammer Fantasy or 40k, even if the miniatures are about 54mm scale or even larger.
In September they will release two terrain pieces for their fairies, usable also for Wood Elves or 40k Xeno terrain. No price or exact size yet.
It is the Elven pavilion.

and the "sun blossom tree house"

Yes, it is a long time until the release.
Until then you might want to hunt on ebay the OOP (since January) Baobab tree (25cm LOS blocking strange tree for 40k, actually an existing African Savanna tree):

... and cactus, while supplies last:

Certainly interesting. Though I am not really interested in the terrain itself I can see the application

I rememeber this stuff being rather pricey: $25-35 dollars for some of the single trees.
Looking on ebay the OOP pieces quickly rise in price because people collect this stuff. Some of the single trees are $70 on ebay.
A little too steep if you ask me...

That's what she said.....
We have some of this stuff at our local toystore, I've been considering using some of the stuff in 40k but it's just not on par with GW or other miniature makers. These are toys for children and not really made for us perv...I mean wargamers
