I have a FW Hydra to put together and one of the autocannon pairs is not straight. I've heard that you can heat the resin in hot (or boiling) water and then hold it straight until it rehardens. Is this correct? If so, anything I need to take into account so I don't end up with a disfigured lump of resin?

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

It is correct.

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

Pour some hot water into a shallow tray (NOT boiling, Hot water tap should be adequate). Tray should be deep enough so that the water will cover the items.

Put bent/warped pieces into it for about 30 seconds.
Remove and attempt to gently straighten by hand - DO NOT FORCE IT. If it doesn't start to give, put it back in the water for another 30 seconds.

Once you have achieved the desired effect, dunk in cool water to set it (left to itself, as it cools, it will probably go back to the curved way it was).

Hydra autocannon barrels are best dealt with by removing the muzzles and then cutting the barrels from the receivers and replacing the barrels with brass rod or tubing (3mm).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
