I disagree with your Charger assessment that they won't make it into many lists. I find them going in alot of lists. Most of the time I only put one or two points of focus on them unless you're going for the caster kill. I generally use pairs of them however if I'm going to use them.
Epic Nemo REALLY likes them...

I added 1 thing to each, seeing as how it's aimed towards beginners I hoped that this would help them understand new/dastardly ways to use their battleboxes to full effect...
