Year and half ago I made a poll about which armies do people play. And the results were:

I play Orks, Marines, Chaos Marines, Space Wolves, and Guard, but I haven't used either my Wolves or Orks in quite some time.

Orks, Nids and SM, although i have 1600 pts of csm but i dont like em there unpainted so i dont really think they count do they?

Only Tyranids.

Although I am starting a Tomb Kings collection, but that is neither here nor there.

Tau (On the back burner, got sick of them)
Orkses (Retired, caught too much flak for running nob bikers)
Wolves (Soon to be retired, Too much flak for being too competitive)
Chaos Marines (On the back burner but may be rotated in)

I collect Tau empire, had a daemonhunters army but put them on there since I'm considering starting them up again with the updated codex coming out in April.

It seems Tau, Tyranids and Orks are doing well, Space Marines as a whole probably have more it's just hey are split up between different choices.

Space Wolves - First and foremost. Been playing them since 2nd edition.

Tyranids - Space Hulk set turned into a full fledged army; sadly it's currently relegated to the closet.

Witch Hunters - Third army. I enjoy playing them, but ended up leading to:

Imperial Guard - Allies for my Sisters have slowly grown into a small force. I picked up the Emperor's Fist Tank Company (9 Leman Russes) when Apocalypse came out. I also have an old Demolisher, back when I thought they could be fielded by Space Wolves.

Orks - Picked up the AoBR box to get the small rule book, ended up grabbing a couple megaforces to fill out my army. They're such a fun army I've probably got four to five thousand points worth already.

Space Marines - Generic marines meant to become Salamanders I guess. I got a bunch of extra marines with a Space Wolf ebay auction. I remember an old White Dwarf that had an Emperor's Champion painted up as Salamanders. Fell in love with the color scheme. This force is pretty much in the theoretical stage though.

Orks and SM, as before. Actually, I don't think I've even gotten a single new model since the last poll, although I've painted up a bit more of my collection. Same caveat applies - I play both if "play" can be stretched to cover "own enough models to call an army, slowly paint them, and have every intention of playing with them when it eventually becomes convenient."

Started with Necrons and have steadily been collecting more since I started. Liked the Tau look, but...

Ended up liking Nurgle even more so I started a Chaos Daemons army, which of course lead...

To a Chaos Space Marine army to accompany my daemons into battle.

And then I remembered the Tau and have started getting ahold of them again.

I play Orks and Daemon hunters, but looking at the rumors for the Grey Knight codex I might just play Ork soon.

I play DA mainly, though I run C:SM from time to time mainly because of Stern guard lol.

i play IG and Salamander SM.

my IG is alot of tanks, hvy wpn teams, elites, vets and blob squads.

i didnt want to play another tread head army, so, i went drop pod heavy with my salamanders complete with vulkan, assault marines (and the like) with drop pod fun.

Guard, just guard nowadays-I get to sculpt all my fave sci fi war movie characters and tanks that way-, though I used to play a bunch of other armies-Marines, Chaos...Marines, Witch Hunters, Tau...but its the plight of the dog soldier in a galaxy full of gribbly death that does it for me.=P

I've been playing orks since the infamous "Battle at the Farm" and there's been no looking back.

Sorry for slow response, but there was bit over 300 votes last time. Will include that to original post.

I've only played with Space Marines... but I've had an itch to play other factions but I've just never committed to getting another army started... in fact there is a little something in each of the armies that have me wanting to try them out (ex: Dark Eldar Mandrakes, Eldar Avatar of Khaine, Ork Warboss, IG Leman Russ, Daemon Soulgrinder, Chaos Defiler, Witchhunters Sister Repentia, Daemonhunters Torquemada, Tyranid Carnifex, Necron Warriors, Tau Firewarriors)

Well I own two armies, but my girlfriend owns two armies and my friend owns two armies and all the armies are sitting at my house, so I can safely say that I play with all the six armies (when no ones looking ahahahahah)

Elysian Drop troops but I suppose thats IG. I like using Imperial Guard due to the number of diffrent armies I can feild

Sold my Cadians, WH and DH and vowed to take a break from it all. Then almost immediately went out and bought a chock-load of Vostroyans. Lovely lovely Vostroyans.

Yeah Vostroyans are awesome figures I went for Elysians for after quiting playing warhammer fantasy. I just couldnt resists them

Last year I collected CSM, IG, Orks and Nids

This year I collect CSM, IG and Eldar.

This means I have stopped playing Orks and Nids, and started playing Eldar.

I play orks. my gf has started collecting a daemon army so i might start a chaos space marine army to play with her units.

Gonna close it at 307 votes and do an analysis or just let it run?
