I've been told by basically everyone to just pay the extra $3 for a razorback if I need a rhino. But I was curious, besides the extra razorback spures, are any of the rhino sprues missing? The marine comming out of the hatch for example? Do you have the extra roof door to use when it's being a rhino? Things like that.

Same goes for the Pred and Whirlwind. Magnetize everything so you can maximize your vehicle types as you see fit.
The Vindi has all the Rhino stuff too...but magnetizing wont work.

Nice. So basically every rhino based thing can be used as a rhino.

Hang on - in the UK Rhinos and Razorbacks cost the same...

Yup, Always Buy Razorbacks and magnetise them. Means you can re-role your Rhino's and then you only need like 5-6 or 6 and you can loads of options (except for the Vindicator that one is a bit special)...Like so...(I do it to Land Raider turrets as the front one is the same as a RB turret so AC/ HB / TLC etc.) See my Gallery if you need some inspiration...

Why waste money on 12 Rhino's when you only need 6, just buy some rare earth Magnets and off you go..

All Rhinos in my army are infact Razorbacks, I just make it so you can remove the turrent and the top panel.
In Aus they both cost AUD$55, next on my list is magantising a Baal Pred.

Why do people magnatise the turrets to the chassis? Is gravity not strong enough where you play?

Sorry, was just browsing but I have to speak up here: turret isn't even pronounced like that! Why do people keep spelling it with an N?! Also, magnetise, not magnatise.

Carry on.

Breotan: Models get moved around during play and storage. Sure, the turrets aren't going to float away on their own, but many of the parts are top-heavy, so it saves you the trouble of having to pop your gunner back in place every time someone nudges the table.

Razorback, whirlwind and Vindicators contain Rhino sprues+weapon sprues.

All vehicles CAN be used as rhinos - when Rhinos and razorbacks cost the same, why buy rhinos? I alternate immolators and razorbacks for more weapon options (Multimelta, heavy flamer pairs).

Tau players around here buy skyrays not hammerheads as the skyray is the same price yet contains more bits.

Nowhere spells it magnatise. Magnets are magnets everywhere, not magnats.

Just to humour you, I actually installed an Australian English dictionary to my spell checker. Surprise surprise, turrent and magnatise still aren't words. Welcome to a lesson on "it's silly to try and pass off misspellings as regional dialects".

Wow this thread could have ended a long time ago if not for the spelling lesson.

However as stated, the Rhino sprues are the basis for all the marine tanks except for the Land Raider. The only one that does not let you rearrange the configuration is the Vindicator. Take a look at one and you'll figure it out.

But with the addition of some Magnets, Predators, Whirlwinds and Razorbacks can all be Rhinos.

And I am a fan of Magnets because with certain options, and paint sometimes things don't fit just right and to help it hold together and still be flexible the magnets are the way to go. My standard Rhino has 4, to hold the side ramps on, and my WIP Razorback has 6 planned. I figure a Predator would need 8 to 10 depending on how many of the options your able to build at one time. If you can build both sets of sponsons then you'd need extra but if just one at a time, well then a few less.
