The basic diorama is a squad of Dark Angels purging the heretical Easter chicks, but not doing so well against them, as the chicks seem rather blood thirsty. For those of you who dont know what easter chicks are, they are these lovely little guys (the taint of evil is evident)

I will probably be starting the base soon, but I am not really sure what the base should be, not really a 'last stand' esque diorama, more a swirling melee and angry chick and space marine, so what sort of base should I use? Just a basic stones with patches of grass like you would a normal miniature base? I am not really sure to honest, anyone have any ideas?

Why not have the Easter bunny involved as well. With a lascannon grafted to his arm...

I was very tempted, to have the easter bunny feasting on insides of a space marine, but I couldnt really find an easter bunny the right scale

I like the idea you've got here. I would look for examples of Easter baskets - you know, those things they get you to do in primary school for some reason - and model your terrain on that. Only - naturally - try and make the whole affair as GRIMDARK as possible

Don't worry it will be, gore stained easter chicks feasting on the entrails of dead marines, marines driving chainswords into their heads. All very cheefull. What I may do it make it look like primary school easter scene, all colourful with baskets full of eggs, thats a good idea thanks
