Which is not that great. Space Wolves have lower Leadership than many other Space Marine chapters, who have a 9 pretty much across the board (because their squads include veteran sergeants in the cost), and in order to get that leadership we have to take Wolf Guard and/or independent characters to lead out packs. Fenrisian Wolves do not have
ATSKNF, so if they break and are below half strength they will run off the board.
Edit - Here's an example of how I would build a list like this:
Bjorn the Fel Handed (Plasma) - 270
Rune Priest Mikjall (Chooser of the Slain, Wolf Tail Talisman, Living Lightning, Stormcaller) - 115
Pack Redfang[3 Wolf Guard] - 129
-Mikal Sternmark w/ Redfang (Frost Blade) and Combi-Plasma
-Sveinn w/ Power Fist and Combi-Melta
-Torval w/ Power Fist and Combi-Melta
Dreadnought Grimnir (
TL Lascannon, Heavy Flamer) - 145
Pack Ironhand[10 Grey Hunters](2x Plasma Gun, Wolf Standard) - 170
Pack Grimtooth[9 Grey Hunters](Meltagun, Wolf Standard, Rhino) - 185
Pack Icewind[9 Grey Hunters](Meltagun, Wolf Standard, Rhino) - 185
Pack Hailstorm[6 Long Fangs](5 Missile Launchers, Razorback w/
TL Lascannon) - 215
Predator Destructor "Krakenmaw" (Autocannon, Sponsion Heavy Bolters) - 85
Total 1,499
The list is designed as a defensive force, to hold a location against an assaulting opponent. It has a solid core of ranged firepower with a pair of mobile packs for taking enemy objectives, and strong leadership which Space Wolves respect. It's also less "spammy" than normal, with only a single pack of Long Fangs and a single Predator, along with Bjorn and another Dreadnought for fire support and counter-assault.
I wrote some fluff for it as well if anyone would care to see it. I did it more as a creative exercise because I liked the idea the
OP had more than anything, but I'm actually kinda happy how it turned out. I don't want to hijack the thread though, so I'll only post it if the
OP asks.
