32 lances, loads of TL'd splinter rifles, and Mr. V. for playing mind games and stealing the initiative. 70 bodies, 10 vehicles.
Tell me what you think, folks -- The splinter racks are primarily there for mopping up hordes, but they work handily for pouring added firepower into MCs and Marines, and I really feel TL'd splinter rifles become way more scary versus horde Orks and 'Nids. I kept vehicles otherwise unupgraded, as they'll probably be the first to go -- but, of course, the army is based around giving my opponent bad decisions to make. If Raiders survive beyond Turn 2, squads simply fly around inside and plink away with their splinter rifles, and if not, I have the bodies to survive a few rounds of fire if I'm in cover (which I will be).
The only melee beatstick is Vect, but he's a wrecking-ball by himself, and I only plan on using him as an assault deterrent for the Trueborn he'll be chilling with. 10 bodies in those squads usually ensures they live long enough to keep firing those punishing quad-blaster fusillades into important stuff.
What do you guys think?
