Does anyone have any good suggestions as to how one would make Empire Flagellants look like an IG Psyker Batlle Squad? The thing is, I need them to look Imperial, not Chaosy

-2500 pts.

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

get aload of marine back banners and then cut the chain and ball bits off the flails and stick the banner tops on them so they look like staffs then give them aquila tattoos and brandings and paint them with none chaos colours eg dirty white or blue robes ..also dont use the cage heads maybe mix in some imp guard non helmeted heads aswell .

Imp Guard body armor, the aforementioned staff, and other Imperial Insignia would all contribute.

Forgeworld are your best bet, they sell etched brass ones that are really quite nice, and all different sizes. And it isn't so expensive that you have to sell your firstborn to buy them like most of their products

Once you have this cut it out nicely and apply some Vaseline then push it into some green stuff. Wait for the greenstuff to go off a bit then remove the aquila (don't let it fully dry it can be an ass to remove), then let it fully dry. Then repeat in reverse; Vaseline the greenstuff mould and stuff in some greenstuff let it dry a bit then remove it. Repeat until you have enough.

That Aquilla is gargantuan in size though.

I second the FW Etched brass, or (if you can get your hands on it) the force field generator from the Battle For Macragg set (which has a perfect-sized aquilla).

Mostly, on my phone.

You could press mould from the IG vehicle aquilla, if so minded. I made belt-buckles for my Ogryn that way. I'm into press moulding generally; over time I've found that making the impression "mould" in green stuff but the "casts" in grey stuff works best. Also, I'd slightly increase the amount of blue in the gs mix as this make for a durable cure that still has a bit of flexibility in it (you want a little bit of wiggle in your mould).

Not to shanghai your thread but here's how I did mine: flagellant heads/arms, cadian torso/legs, and empire outrider cloaks (mostly, anyhow) -

Shhhhhhhh! Should the mod-quisition come down on you!

Dear Mods, I would like to stress that all of this was theoretical moulding on GW property, and in no way was going to be produced.

Indeed. My apologies. I should also quickly add that any press-molding I do is now of stuff I've sculpted up myself, I was merely using an example from my misspent youth.

Um, yeah.
