Reading through the Ork FAQ, I noticed that the Trukk will stop just before hitting a friendly unit if it suffers the "Kareen!" result. Given how it works out, I imagined it as the driver loosing complete control of the thing, driving it right up to a nearby Boyz squad, stops, both the trukk and the squad takes a sigh of relief, then the trukk exploding in the closest boyz' face. I wondered if this was intentional for the hilarity, as it would be much more realistic if the trukk plowed into and through the unit, then exploded. Does anyone have other scenarios created by the rulings?

Actually one similar to yours - except it exploded in the face of the unit that rapid fired it! Suffice to say there were some angry Nobs next turn!

Not really a scenario, but there are tons of pointless rules that do nothing, and not just in old dex's.

things like old one eye gaining extra initiative on the charge, and hitting at I1 anyway due to his claws.

Lol he must have gotten the extra speed, then his claws dragged on the floor causing him to trip.

Hurr! Ogryn Bone 'Ead!

Sacramento Valley

I played a game using Creed once that had a funny moment. Creed allows you to Outflank any 1 unit in your army...so I thought it would be fun to bring out some Ogryns that way. By the time they got out, the only thing close enough was a Tech Marine all by his lonesome. Needless to say, my Ogryn had a fun time punching him repeatedly in the face ^^. Was it worth it...points no. Hilarity...yes!

I've had my Trukks kareen towards their intended target, explode, and then the Orks assault on my turn. I'd say that's pretty fluffy, since Orks would just do that anyway.

I had another game where my Iron Warriors Terminators got assaulted by a 10 man squad of Possessed Marines who had randomly rolled the power weapons ability. I passed 7 of my 9 invuln saves and my Terminators totally wrecked them. Iron Warriors abhor mutation, and we all agree it was worthy of typical Space Marine art - a bunch of big guys just cutting down mutants like it ain't no thing.

Back when rending was on the hit roll... and CSM has REAL daemons...

6 daemonettes charged into a 10 man unit of marines, 18 attacks, 16 6's (so 16 rending hits, auto wound, no saves)

You can just imagine the daemonettes appearing from the warp and weaving their daemonic magic on the marines who stand their entranced while the daemonettes remove their vital organs with claws the size of your leg...

I'd imagine the orks got launched out of the explosion and landed in their target's faces choppa-first.

Pretty crushing claws are D3 additional attacks at I1. So he should still get his base attacks at his initiative.

All attacks are made at I1. It says "but strikes at Initiative 1, regardless of modifiers". Given that all such separate attacks are usually denoted by a "that strikes at" and you normally cant modify them anyways, it's safe to say it applies to the whole model, not just the extra D3.

Also: I dont care for disputes against rules, so please dont turn this into one of those 3 page long chicken fights.

I have two. The first one, while not very close to the background, was somewhat funny. My Trukk, with Ghazghkull and a tooled-up unit of Nobz inside, was about to be attacked by a squad of terminators who had just gotten out of a Land Raider. However, he decided to shoot the Land Raider's Lascannons at the Trukk first - it exploded, and Kareened to the left, clear through a ruined building, ending up in open space on the other side. This left Ghaz and his group in front of several tactical squads, which were easier to krump than the terminators.

Another one, that while adhering to fluff, was not too funny. I was playing with my Dark Angels versus a Tau player. On my first turn, I managed to land a Plasma cannon blast directly onto the head of an exposed Ethereal. The Ethereal failed it's save, and died instantly. Several units promptly ran off the board, and while others got preferred enemy, it wouldn't be much help against the Deathwing. From my limited readings of the Tau codex, I understand that the death of an Ethereal has drastic effects on the Tau.

Imperial Guard - about 2000 points' worth, soon to be expanded

Christmas Orks - 1750 points' worth

I'm a little unsure of what the topic is. Is it moments in game that matched with the fluff?

Regardless, I had my CSM's Greater Daemon kill my friend's Librarian. Seems very fitting for a giant daemon to eat a delicious psyker soul

Actually it would be funny moments created due to the specific ruling. Like, in the one I made in the original post, logic dictates that the Trukk goes kareening right through the unit before exploding. Ruling wise, it stops just a (in-universe) inch before the unit, then explodes. I was wondering if there are other situations like this created by the rulings, as hilarious incidents have already been documented in numerous other threads.
