Hello
Old GW dragon ogres are not too much "pretty".
I have much fun working on those miniatures but they still require much work.

I was thinking about doing pretty much the same thing- the gw's dragon osgres are ancient, 25 years IIRC an wanted to know what a modern plastic alternative looked like..i

The only problem with this conversion is that you need the OOP plastic Cold Ones.

The new DE ones are way thiner then the old ones,so it looks really off with the Ogre torso on it...

Wich is a shame...

They really need to change those models...

You could always use normal plastic dinos that come 10 something for a buck at most dollar stores.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Awesome. I wanted to do a similar conversion (possibly using those Khorne Hounds instead) but then GW took dragon ogres out of my army list and I think the stat-line is just too different from the razorgor to make it work.

I like the one with the over-head two-handed sword best. He looks like his gut plate might just bite your arm off before he cuts you in half.

Actually no, I don't feel a one word answer is good enough. I'm hugely impressed, especially in how you've successfully meshed the huge musculature of the ogre with the Cold one.
They emulate the stock miniatures in preportions, but obviously they look much more...well, they look more in time with todays sculpts.

Wanna make some now...
