Just out of curiosity, would the Sanguinary Guard jump-pack/wings fit on a regular marine? Because I really want my upcoming grey knight strike squads' justicars to have the big wings. They look too awesome not to.

The wings attach on a little piece on the back half of the torso. You would need to use a sang guard's back-half of the torso for each GK.

Ah, damn :/ I thought it would be just the little socket joint like a normal tacmarine.

The Sprue pics on the GW site seems to show that the Sang Guard's back half of the torso is the same as a tact marine. The engine and the actual "backpack" part of the pack, as well as each individual wings, are all separate pieces.

I have the pieces in front of me, and slaved over getting the wings on, all day!
Believe me, the backs are different. There is a little nub on each side of the square w/ a mound to attach the backpack on. The wings attach to the nubs.

I think the OP is asking how the entire pack is mounted on, not just the wings.

Yeah, I knew the wings were stuck to the backpack. I meant if the actual backpack along with the wings fit on a normal marine.

http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1000160a_99120101085_SanguinaryGuardSprue1_873x627.jpg Upper right corner you can see the backs of the Sang Guard and the Backpack assembly. Looks to me like it should fit onto a normal tact marine with no problems. EDIT: I'm sure it's compatable. A while back someone did a backpack swap, giving Dante one of the Sang Guard backpacks. It was featured on "whats New" if I remembered correctly. Worse comes to worse, just file down the joint to make the match.

But the wings aren't stuck to the backpack... They are stuck on the little nubs on either side of the back half of the torso like everyone who has built the things have been saying.
There is nothing stopping you from shaving down the joint on the wings themselves and attaching them to back of Grey Knights. That would work just fine, I did it with a chaplain, a librarian, and 10 honor guard. What you are asking to do, is very feasible. Go for it.

It is possible to get the wings to work with a regular marine torso, but I would recommend pinning in addition to the glue. I found that without the pin the wings came off in my figure case.
Good luck, and post pics when you get 'em sorted.
