If you've seen the other Sucker Punch trailers, then this is nothing new really, but it does do the whole "fast moving battle scenes to cool soundtrack" thing quite well.

Click on the link below and the new promo should be the first thing that pops up.

I'm thinking this will be a marmite movie. I usually abhor vast amounts of CGI, but for some reason I don't mind it so much in Zack Snyder's efforts and at the end of the day, it's got girls in skimpy outfits, samurai swords, lots of dakka and big arse robots.

Evidently she's crazy in a nuthouse, and all the steampunk stuff is her imagination helping her cope with reality. This means of course, there's no limit on the steampunk stuff.

She Who Must Be Obeyed sort oif liked the preview, but was really jazzed when the Priest one followed it.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

I will see this.

Fortunately, I think this looks like a good man-date movie.

Boom!

This things still coming out? Awesome. Saw the first trailer in that thread ages ago and been waiting for it since.

Saw a cardboard cutout-y thing at my local cinama on tuesday when I went to see True Grit. Made that day better.

Azarath Metrion Zinthos

I think the giant steampunk killer bunny makes up for it's flaws in full.

What amuses me is the idea that a girl would retreat into a steampunk fantasy world.

I'm sure most girls would fantasise about something more erm... girly, like being at that Dirty Dancing summer camp or such like...

...maybe not Luna.

The problem is if it was a more realistic portrayal of women fantasies, it would probably have more oiled-up hunky men in it.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Y'know for weeks now I've been confusing this film with Bitch Slap.

So that's why it's already on Netflix...
