MIG has created the new 38TX Walking Tank, and a Flamethrower Variant. Both retail for 58 Euro's apiece, and complement their existing sci-fi range nicely. Renegade stalk tanks anyone?

I actually think the hull/turret would look great with some treads on each side as alt. IG or Ork vehicles (build looted wagons or armoured cars off of them, etc.)
How big are they I wonder, and does the company plan to sell individual parts? $80 just to get a hull and turret is not gonna happen...

I'm gonna give a meh to this one, mostly because this could easily be built out of plasticard by someone moderately talented... Let me qualify that though, there is nothing wrong with it either, it looks like a clean, tight build, and of course a MIG paintjob always looks fantastic. Just from a design point of view I find it a bit simplistic, and for an 80 dollar kit I like to see something I couldn't do with a ruler, some card and a knife alone if that makes sense?

Anyone remember the ps2 game Ring Of Red?
anyways, it looks amazing, I'll try to find it here, of they sell them in Belgium. I'd buy one, when I find it, but I would be set off by the price, so...

The tank in the bottom picture looks a lot better than the shot of the whole tank in the first picture, which I don't really like the design of at all... The legs are OK, but the hull is just boring. I know it is supposed to be a tank on legs, but you don't have to literally get a tank, take the tracks off and put on some legs...

It's 1:35 scale, so it is quite a big kit. Well, semi-big, seeing as these are based on the puny Panzer 38(t) turret and chassis.

The legs make for a more interesting tank, that's all what's needed. I'd be happy to buy it, even though the hull looks lame, it has the legs!. But it's just painted so boringly, another paint scheme and sales would be jumping the roof.

According to the website its 1/35 scale and based off the turret of the Czech 38(t) light tank...which is 15.1 feet long, with the turret being around 1/2 the tanks length. So in 1/35 scale the body will be around 3-4 inches long, so say 6-7 inches including the legs.
For those of you that must equate everything to a 40k product...about the size of a Defiler without the front claws.
Thats pretty small for a $80 asking price. Also dont forget the cost/time for international shipping. I would expect to sell few, maybe none in the US at that price. For 1/2 that price it would be a good deal. That currency exchange is a killer.
Bit of a bummer. I like the looks of the thing, and it would look great with my Red Blok & Russian stuff, but at $80 its a no way.

Not bad, I think it would be cool to do a "construction/recovery" version though with an excavator arm or crane.

It's not really aimed at people like us, anyway. I'd expect the model to be far too fragile to withstand any kind of gaming use. MIG is a specialty resin crafter, the break-even point for that kind of models is very, very low. I know a few companies that are satisfied if they sell 10-20 castings.

I love it, though I question why the structural area of the leg is so heavily armored when the functional hydraulic piece is open aie. Regardless, it's cool

WW2 aesthetics, I'd guess. Back then, after all, the average anti-tank guns were nowhere near as effective or accurate as our modern equivalents.

I really like it. It's perfect for tech guard and ripe for converting. I appreciate the attempt at realistic feet as opposed to just spikes pointing into the ground. If anybody has a size comp or a ruler next to .

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

The KV-2 variant is also great, but a bit pricier and perhaps less practical for gameplay.
Were I to win the lottery, I'd ask if they gave bulk discounts for quantities over 6.

Well, not aimed at games only types. I do far more modeling than playing. Other than price its right up my alley. I was a scale aircraft & armor modeler for years before I discovered gaming. In the last year Ive probably only spent 3 hours gaming, but more than 100 building and painting minis and models.
Like I said, for a better price Id pick one up, but at this point I just cant justify $80 for it.

Yeah, MIG makes expensive but pretty boutique resin for sure. I remember these tanks from when fichtenfoo was scratch building them, really good write up of the process on his website. http://fichtenfoo.net/blog/tag/kv-x2/ and http://fichtenfoo.net/blog/tag/panzerkampfwandern-38x/ Great website for looking at custom mecha.
