Hi, very soon I will have one of these, because I want to try, painting and making an Ork Warboss and maybe later, if I like it, start an Ork army.

Now, I have a question, what is all able to be put on him? I would like to give him (mostly) More armour. (additional shoulder protection, some extra plates here and there, and ofcourse that jaw thingie!). and then maybe some kind of extra details...

But for the extra armour, is it possible?, are there any complications?, is there anything important I need to know?

Enlighten me

Ork warboss can take eavy armor or Mega armor so give him what armor you want and it will be fine rules wise. And that "jaw thingie" is called a gob

A gob right haha

I geuss that Mega Armor is a bit difficult to make :p yet Eavy armor sounds good any tips on how to give him that?

easiest method would be to attach random bits of plasticard or chunks of greenstuff to make him look like his wearing
extra armour than other orks.

Yeah all you have to do is give him a large amount of armor, if you look at normal boyz they don't really have any armor it's just clothing and maybe a shoulder guard. So just take bits of armor and bulk him up with it.

I've seen alot of people take armor bits from the Nob sprue and put them on their boss. My new boss that I'm making isn't based off the AoBR one (I'm using a WHFB minotaur which is pretty large) but I'm giving him eavy armor by using the smaller nob shoulder pads on his legs, extra trukk armor on his chest, killa kan shoulder guards on his shoulders with an armor plate from the same kit on his back, the shoulder plates from the WHFB warboss on his stomache and knee respectfully and then the rest will be plasticard if I even need to add anymore

I just sculpted a Commissar outfit on him, I figure the sheer intimidation factor of a Kommizork is enough to make the blows bounce right off in fear.

Just plan out everything and be patient and methodical. One of the reasons I've been happy with every single one of my conversions is that I took my time with each one.

Even my Kommizork, which was my first major conversion, was hugely successful because I took my time. Just take your time and all will be right with the world.

This multiplied by 1000

I've been planning my warboss and other characters for a little over 2 months now looking at all of the bits and thinking of all the possibilities. If you have something you want to do just think about what you want and the best way to do it then take your time doing it. That being said some of the best conversions I've ever seen haven't been planned and that's the great thing about orks is that most of their kits are interchangable.

@sickening: great conversion

@Ironskull: I will try to plan quite long before I will do anything going to be very careful with this one , I believe Orks indeed lend most to converting, as they can truly have anything
