Does anybody know what happened to the Dark Mechanicus on Mars? Did the layalist Mechanicus retake the planet or was it retaken by the Imperium (counting the Mechanicum as a separate entity)? And what ever happened to Kelbor Hal?

Not sure about that Hal fellow but Mars is the domain of the Mechanicum so i presume it was retaken by them... or not maybe the Imperium re-took it and gave it to them.

And thats another thing. In the novel Mechanicum, Kelbor-Hal releases all sorts of uber-chaotic stuff made during the Dark Age of Technology from the vaults of Mars. So why doesn't chaos have technology the vastly outclasses that of the Imperium?
