When casting timewarp on a flyer, would you double its movement characteristic as defined by its profile, or the flight glide rule of M10? The latter would allow them a whopping 40" march, so I wanted to make sure before I jet my terradons right into my buddy's war machines tomorrow.

It's movement characteristic as given in the profile, not only that but noone can get an M of over 10 due to the cap rule on page 3, since the spell dosen't give you specific permission to ignore this anyone with an M of 6+ is still capped at M10 when under it's effect.

Another question pertaining to this spell. How would it work with a Steamtank. Is the steam tank capped at 10 movement or does it's special rules allow it overcome the limitation. I have a empire playing in my gaming group that enjoys his 30" charge with his ST.

It has no interaction at all with a Steam Tank. See the Empire FAQ. Each Steam Point allows it to move 3", it does not set a movement allowance to be doubled. As was mentioned before, 10" would be the Movement stat limit, which the Steam Tank lacks.

I suggest you don't believe anything posted by thedarkavenger unless confirmed by other regular posters here at Dakka. He has shown he is incapable of basic English comprehension.

Yeah.
The FAQ says "Movement Allowance" is doubled.
Page 3 says that the "M" stat is "Movement Allowance" and also says that the stats vary from 0 to 10.
The spell does not state that it breaks that cap of 10 rule, so it doubles the "M" stat, up to a cap of 10. Units that move without using their M stat (spawns, fliers while flying), are unaffected by the movement part of the spell.

There are huge arguments on this all over the internet, the issue is as of yet unresolved.

I've got this.

It's just a sweep to the left.
Then a wheel to the right.
Aim your wings to your flanks.
Then pull your Steam in tight.
But it's the plague of rust - that really drives you insane.

Then you can cast timewarp again.

Wait, if the Steam tank doesn't have a set M value isn't Birona's Timewarp useless then?

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.
