So here is our latest commission. It took a little longer than originally projected. About 13 days total paint time.Mainly because we didnt quite realize how annoying these minis are to assemble.

They certainly are a royal pain to put together. Nice work on the army - I especially like the way the Incubi turned out.

Oh, and the smiley-face / pawprint bases on the bombers!

Fantastic as always. Are those bombers the FW ones? They scale well for the army.

Any chance at a look of the characters?

Awesome looking army... it's when i see fully painted armies like this, done well, with new models that obviously haven't been out for very long, that i start to feel bad about having unpainted models on the table... Guess it is time for me to go home and get some painting done.

Very well painted army! Only thing that disturb me is that every time I see your Dark Eldar they remind me of Eldar because I have seen lots of red Eldar.

That's pretty damn awesome, the thing you did with the Incubi heads was ace. Mind sharing how you got the bone-white you use on the Warriors' helmets and Dark Lance? I'm looking for something similar.

OK, I don't want to come off like an a-hole here but I do have some constructive criticism.

You obviously have a nice airbrush...you obviously have paint skills...you obvioulsy have a good color palate...but here's what I don't get. You've kind of done the airbrushing, then did minimal detail work so that these models are passable as an army but you could have done so much more. To me, this army isn't finished. It needs the details and flourishes that take an army from good to great. Right now it's decent and I can tell you have the ability to make it awesome, but it needs that extra attention.

EDIT: just saw this was a commission and done in 13 days...nevermind. my guess is you deliberately painted it this way to keep costs down for the customer.

Have to agree with others - some very nice use of an airbrush to give a very nice finished look.

Thank you TimW, i thought i was the only one having some issues XD

Well frist of all, in that time frame, its really great, what you have done, but still i think some constructive criticism can not be harmful.
What bothers me is the over all Impression. the work with the airbrush is very impressive but its nothing for infantry. The flyers and the raiders/ravangers all look great, but the warriors look like the ones from the Old dex. not well painted. It really only is their amour, but that just makes such a difference.
and the incubi look good, well their amour does, but the helmet, was it just dropped into an paint pod?

There is so much more potential in them, and as TimW said, one can see that you have the skills, but sadly there was not the time to finish the job.

anywho, for that little amount of time, a great job!
