As the topic says, If you could choose from these 4 rules to give to any Infantry, Jump Infantry, Monstrous Creatures, or Walkers, at the start of the game, which would you choose? Which units would you give them to from your given army?
(Rules Clarification: You must choose one of the 4 rules, you cannot mix and match)

scouts, so many nice options with that. (I.E. infiltrate and scout move a squad of assault termies in a LR, or something along those lines) or outflank when needed

Making units scoring is useful in 2/3 of the missions.
And since I play Tau, anything is better than FireWarriors at holding objectives.

I'd go with scoring. That's one of the big things Eldar suffer with right now, only one aspect can hold objectives, and they aren't particularly spectacular.
Besides, scoring wraithlords (not that I'd go for that in particular). Better yet, scoring seer council. The one thing it doesn't do.

Hmmm... Wonder what you're referring to. GK maybe?
Personally, I went for scoring. It can ultimately depend on the game, but more scoring bodies is never a bad thing.

It is to general. Troops are becomning better these days so scoring is not so impresive. Rerolling 1's to wound is situavatianal but cool.
Scouts seems betters since you can scout move transports like landraiders, or outflank.
If I could distribute I would give my raveners scouts for outflank and my wytches counter attack. My grey hunters would also have counter attack. Oh SNAP!

Scouts is transfered to dedicated transports and that is what I would take. being able to move my assault raiders to 12" of the enemy before the game starts is just too good.

Scouts and Counterattack look to be the two I will be using most often.
Scouts on DKs to get them 'in your face', Counterattack on Mordrack+Friends and Purifier squads because they don't really need much else.

It specifies you can't target Ghost Knights unfortunately. I like it on Purifiers though.

Depends on what your GK army is lacking (yes i know ) i've play-tested a Paladin army, and i think it really depends on what your up against, and whats in your list.

Just saying, IF the rumours are true then Dreadknights with personal teleporters and Scouts are the most broken gak I've ever seen. If you go first, you get into combat by round one with AT LEAST one T7 W4 4++ MC turn one 5/6ths of the time.
Now, speaking for my own beloved Templars, I think I can agree with turning a massive Terminator blob scoring. Possibly giving Assault Termies scout just to be able to outflank LRCs though.

Since this is a non-army specific poll, I can't imagine how Scoring isn't completely running away with the vote.
D3 extra scoring units that can come from Elite, Fast, Heavy, or HQ is going to be Scouting every day.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

I disagree, I think in some situations (especially KP missions ) Scouts is the better rule to give your units, especially for armies with strong troops choices already. IG and Orks likely would get far more out of the tactical flexibility that Scouts brings then by giving a Kan or CCS scoring. Also, notice it will only apply to non-vehicles, so for some armies they might not even have any units to make scoring with the rule (besides their HQ).

Scoring, definitely scoring. Makes a unit much more valuable IMO. Like if mandrakes were scoring, people might actually consider using them.

Scouts. However since I rarely ever play Objectives, I'm kinda bias to the most killy of options. Outflank is the staple strategy of most of my armies and is quite deadly in tandem with Genestealers. Giving them to, say, Incubi can really cause some havoc.

I chose scoring as well, because my tyranids, generally already re-roll 1s.. and similar to the scoring titan, a scoring trygon would just be wicked cool.

Counter-attack is rather worthless for me (Eldar). Most of my units are going to die horribly in CC, getting a bonus attack isn't going to help much.
Re-rolling wound rolls of 1 is also worthless. Doom lets me already re-roll failed wounds, and you can't re-roll a re-roll. Now, if it was re-roll your vehicle penetration...
So, that leaves scouts and scoring. I went with Scouts, as that lets me use SMF to get cover saves when I go 2nd.

In objective missions, scoring. Having D3 extra scoring units is invaluable and opens up a bunch of options. For KPs it'd be situational depending on the opponent.
