Here are my Sanguinary guard. The scheme I 'borrowed' from a picture I saw on the gallery that I fell in love with. The scheme was too cool not to try, so I painted up two of my recently built Sanguinary Guardsmen. There are fluffy reasons for they way these two are armed (the others are 'normal' ) and I will link to the fluff thread I write, when I get around to it
Tell me what you guys think, C&C greatly welcomed

Very cool looking. I like the color scheme a lot and I think the two colors go together well.

Thanks

Also, I just noticed, the gems look much better than I thought they would.

Thanks. The other three (with Death masks ) will be added up as I finish them, and the title will change in number accordingly

You should have done opposing color schemes and called them Tomax and Xamot...

Old reference?

Pretty cool colors. Different from what you are likely to see on the table at the least. No barrel drilling though?

Great job! They look good! I just did one of my Sanguinary Guard in black.

Keep up the good work!

I see what you did there... Stupid twins and their corporate law covering up Cobra's diabolical schemes...

Anywho! Great job on these two! I'm really diggin the scheme, and actually like it more than GW's.

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.

Solid.

However, some areas seems rushed.

If you are talking about the three gems that are silver on the pad, I was rushing to put on the ink and put up a pic

very nice, i been thinking about a similar thing myself as i dont particularly enjoy painting with metalic paints. when i get round to sanguinary stuff i think i will be adopting a variant scheme for them.

Very nice... the models look very dynamic, and it is nice to see some with a different color scheme.

Id say that is really different than anything I have seen. Gret work on the skin tones and the wash of the metals. Looks good!

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
