Well i have 10 ork wheels left 8 large ones and 2 small from kitbashing kits together and i have no idea what to do with them, i really dont want to waste them on scenery. I collect orks so i have had a few ideas 2 warbuggies and a trike but they would all be scratch builds and im not to great at those a in i completetly have no idea were to begin lol. I have looked in the gallery on here but most of what i have found is conversions from deffkopters and bikes and having none of those spare and im at a lose for what to do with them.

So im askin for help and insparation from folks dakka, if you have any scratch built buggies trikes or anything you think would be good for insparation can you post a pic, Im not looking to rip off ideas or mimic them just a little help on the ideas fron would be great.

cheers folks grim

Somewhere in south-central England.

Go to your local Pound Shop and buy some of the vehicle models they sell.

You can saw up a tractor or bulldozer, use that for the engine and cab. Make a flat bed from some plastic card and girders. Cement the wheels on underneath and bingo.

Stick on a suitable amount of gubbinz. You can get away with nearly anything as an Ork vehicle if you do a good job with the gubbinz and the paint job.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

But then he would have wheels from those kits left over, so it's not really solving anything

Buy the Imperial Guard Leman Russ Accessory Kit: its half of a leman russ. You need some plasticard to finish the sides, but you could come up with a nice absurd leman russ that was savaged by orks. The kit will cost you sometihng like $16. I cant remember all the parts but its definately on the low end for cost.

Alternatively, find a buddy who needs alot of space marine bikes, buy the ravenwing kit together and swipe the land speeder, giggle maniacally as you convert it into a monster truck of some sort--thats right, jet powered monster truck!

15 successful trades as a buyer;
16 successful trades as a seller;

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

Oh what I would give to have spare wheels

If you've got plasticard and a few spare parts then making Ork vehicles isn't too hard:

These 2 started off life as cavalry bases, then I glued spare lengths of sprue for the axles and stuck the wheels on the end. After that it's just a matter of building up a frame with more spare sprue and then covering up the gaps with plasticard. Then all you really need is the driver and weaponry (Granted I also used a fair bit of spare parts from Space Marine bikes but it'd work without).

Hope that's of some help.
