Here are a few WIP shots of a couple of Trukk kits that I have turned into half-tracks using the BW tracks and a couple of modular "boom gunz" that can be added:




I plan to use them as "counts as" looted wagons in my speed freakish lists (look more appropriate imho and the "don't press dat" rule works as these guys want to rush ahead like all the other trukks/bikes/buggies arounfd them. etc.)) and the trakks should be a nice visual reminder that they are wagons/tanks and not trukks (as if the giant gunz wouldn't give it away).

I plan to do some removable gun crew and shells that fit in the back as well.

They are in early stages of painting at this point.

I would a little more armor plates on the front and use the Forgeworld Gun Wagon Rules. But looking good.

may use the Gun wagon rules of rhome/friendly games, but otherwise LW rules when playing elsewhere and people expect/want codex list only...

Also I think that visually/them-wise they look great amoungst all the many trukks and so forth in my speed freakish lists (looted Russ and basalisks look too "slow" and out of place imho)

Looking great. I might suggest adding gun crews as well if you've the extra models and can be bothered to magnetize. I'd love to see them with the rest of your army.

Love the conversion work. From what you've done, so far, I think they'll look downright spiffy once you finish painting them up. You've left a good amount of space, so I'm looking forward to seeing how you crew the guns.

If an opponent brought such good conversions to a game with me, I'd let them play them as whatever they wanted.

Noo, the FW Medusa gun! How dare the Orks steal it!

IMO the FW Medusa is the coolest looking Guard artillery piece. Good choice for the Looted Wagon cannon. All the conversions look excellent.

Looks nice! I feel the BW tracks offer a lot of opportunities, and you clearly used these well!
