Your last character model is a lone Berzerker skull champion.

You get your reserve roll to summon your GD, but your champion is embarked in a rhino. Does:

a) the summoning happen and the GD is placed outside the rhino
b) the summoning not happen and you're SoL for the rest of the game
c) other?

a), as you measure range to the Bezerker from th hull of the rhino

The Greater Daemon shows up outside of the rhino at a specified distance.

The champion is killed, and the Daemon shows up outside the transport, as if it had disembarked. This is covered in the Summoning rules in the codex.

Yes, it is. This exact instance is covered to be precise.

Brain fart - was geting mixed up with the 6" range for lesser daemons.

yeah i just re-read it and you're correct. didn't see it the first time.

Pg. 61 Codex:CSM specifically tells you what to do in this scenario.
