Ok so Ive been trying to think of a cool way to take a completely half assed Ork dred, from the AOBR set, and turn it into something worthy of "krumpin fings".
So I had an idea hit me the other day, take part of one of the BW I have, and never use on the BW, and turn that into the body of the Deff Dred. So heres some WIP shots of the start, and then the almost completion. Need to base and stick a few rivets here and there. Whatcha think?

It looks awkward, blocky, and completely unwieldy. It's perfect.

I think it would benefit from orkifying the legs a bit.

Whats up with the UPC sticker?

The sticker is actually part of one of those online game cards, so once its painted thatll go away. Yea, rivets and base as well as doing the legs. I honestly, didnt even think about those, it took me a few hours to get everything together and whatnot. Thanks for that one

I like it, may steal the idea, if only to use up a spare BW turret. I'd add a few rivets on the leg armour, maybe a couple of 'toe' replacements?

Thanks everyone. Im glad to see Im not the only one that built the turret just cause it was there Its a cool looking piece, but again, every game I used it in, I took off the turret.

I planned on adding more rivets (Ive got a bin with at least a couple thousand punches of plastic already) and Im still thinking on what/how to alter the legs. Ill get on that today once Im done with the morning errands.

One thing you can do to fix the legs would be to add blades and spikes in places where they might catch someone foolish enough to hide underneath it!

Nice idea! I'd spike up the legs a bit, and maybe add more of a 'face' (either bitz or paintjob), and he's going to look real nifty!
