Let him know the only restrictions on the Fantasy side are:

No special characters

Certain items are restricted such as power scrolls, book of hoathe, etc. The website has all the information.

hmmmm, might have to get some of the local guys interested in going and get a carpool thing.

we are up in Sonoma so we could possably just drive down both days. what are the day times for the event? if it's too early we might stay the night, but cheap is better.

is it possably to preregester, but pay on arrival?

You can preregister to save your spot but you must pay before attending. PayPal is how most folks will be paying. The money will be refundable up until a few weeks before the event.

If you need a place to sleep, we have negotiated group rates at a hotel that is less than a mile from the location. $75 a night for a double room. Pretty cheap!

Spots are going fast, so if you are interested and want to preregister I recommend doing so soon!

I'd love to go, but I'm already going to Pasadena in the beginning of June. Not sure I'd be able to afford TWO trips to CA in 2 months.

Also, Reecius, are you still square basing it, or did Adepticon truly put you off it?

Yeah, I am personally not playing much Fantasy lately. The woodies have not come out of their case in a while. I still love the background and the models, but have not played in a while.

We still have square base lovers in our group though, and they will be handling the Fantasy side of the tournament.

Ok, the time seems like it's reasonable for driving down for the day.

How full is the Fantasy side of things right now?

I plan on checking it out. Kinda new to the hobby still and learning the rules, but hey I'm in Brentwood so I would be stupid not too.

Hey guys, sorry I was absent form the thread for a second.

We are bumping the points on the Fantasy side up to 2500 due to popular demand.

We are less than two weeks into preregistration and have 5 signed up so far for Fantasy and verbal commitments from about 12 more that should be signing up relatively soon. So, I would recommend signing up ASAP to reserve a spot.

We hope to see you guys there, it is going to be a lot of fun.

Still new to the hobby, is there a way to come by and watch? And if so how much would that be?

Free to watch! We would love to have you come and hang out. It would be a good way to learn too, if you wanted to play. You may not win many games but you would walk away from it a much better player.

Fantasy is now 25% full, so if you guys are interested, jump on a ticket.

Also, we hired Wonderwoman to help liven up the event! So come by and meet a beautiful girl that is also hip to nerd culture

Reece, you should make sure the Leadership 2 guys (they play out of Endgame, up in Oakland) know about this event.
