I'll certainly look into it if it has customizable characters...

Gotta agree with this. The game will be mediocre at best if id's current modus operandi is anything to go by. If anything, the game will be a showcase of what the engine can do and allow other developers to make better games with.

Actually, I got more of a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. plus Borderlands vibe. More carnage, but with a decent possibility of an inventory system, at least if it ends up in anyway free-roaming.
Otherwise its just Bullet Storm on Earth, without the Gears-esque character design.
Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.
This game is developed by ID (Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein), not Bethesda. Bethesda is simply publishing it.
Unfortunately, a lot of other games have beaten RAGE to the punch, even though it has been in development far longer than any of them. The Mad Max design has already been done to death, and it will take a lot to make RAGE worthwhile. A well-made engine just won't cut it.
I might play it if given the opportunity, but I seriously doubt that I will ever buy it.

Doesn't matter if other games beat this one to the punch as long as this one does it better in some way.
Much like with bulletstorm I wonder what the customization options are.

Like all games, I'll have to see real game footage first.
(Also when going into this thread I expected a rant not a game trailer )
lol yea right, I love Bethesda. Ill wait till its closer to a release date to see what it actually looks like in game. And I agree with Melissia, doesnt matter if its not the first of its style to come out, as long as its done well, thats what counts.
