I heard that GW is releasing a plastic vendetta kit this summer for IG,

Doubtful.

The Vendetta is already a "plastic" kit, just with three or four resin bits.

It's possible. They have Battlewagon upgrade sprues. I guess I could see a sprue that has the extra bitz. Still, the conversion is still easy enough. I've got 2 of them I made with extra bitz.

GW has been trying to consolidate multiple options into kits. If they were releasing a plastic Vendetta, it would have been part of the Valkyrie kit.
