Is there any way (or is it desirable) to make it so that image tags are automatically removed from replies?

Nothing quite as annoying as when someone replies with quote to say one word and leaves in the 3 pictures previously posted.

Thanks!

What if I really, really want to quote an image? Maybe it was posted on another page of the thread and it would help the conversation to have it available on the current page?

Manually type in the image tag.

While it can be annoying in the instance you state, it is also quite useful a lot of the time. Since it is less effort for me to leave it in than take it out as well, it pushes me to that side of the fence.
