Hi
I am having a dilemma. I am piling up with rulebooks that I want to try out, but they all use D10s, and the only set I can find is 10 for a fiver (once you've added postage) from dark sphere. Now I don't know what the going rate for a die is. But I wanted to know if this was good value or if I should wait for chessex to get their uk site up, or is there a better idea ?
I did a search and couldn't find anything.
Bye

Sounds about right.
Chessex is around $0.75 per die (45p), so 5 pounds for 10 isn't too bad.
You could certainly pay more if you want pretty dice (about 10 pounds for 10 swirly dice).

you can usually find them cheap at a local game store as long as it's not a GW store. in the states, you can usually get them for a dollar each plus tax.

You can find them at any half decent gaming shop. :p
You can also get them marked in tens and units, which is great for doing percentage based rolls, unless you fancy buying a D100.

Have you looked on ebay? I got a jumbo bag with a mix of different dice for a similar price a while back from a private seller...
Alternatively, if you have a wargames show local to you coming up there are always dics sellers with huge ranges to choose from and relatively low prices, plus you can often haggle with them and get a freebie or two...
@ Howard A Treesong - I love my D100, it rolls forever but is great fun...
