I didn't put this in the tactics section because the codex hasn't been officially released. But, IF what we hear is true, what are your thoughts on the new Grey Knights, especially where daemons are concerned. Will it even be possible for a daemon army to beat a GK army (which is commanded by a competent general, not a noob).

If the daemons have no chance, is this good or bad for 40k that one codex can be completely dominated by another?

GK are thematically made to kill Daemons...
Obviously for game balance this isn't a good thing.
I wouldn't mind if a codex had units that specialised at killing a certain unit type e.g. Characters or Mcs but for an entire codex to be good at killing all the units in another codex is off.
I think a Daemons v GK battle will be up-hill for the Daemons but possible even if it only just.

Demons can make it, they just can't rely on EW anymore. Flood them with bloodletters.

For psychic, and EW needing heavy forces... sorry! Khorne is recruiting.

I think the next daemon codex should have some priced upgrades that provide some sort of answer to GK.
