So I finished reading both the Salamander novels and was already hooked on the salamanders before. I have decided to create the entire 3rd comany, and Im going to add about half the first company into it as well, AND elements of 4th company. So Right now, i have the all the 3rd, and half of the first company, and extra 3rd models will be painted like 4th. I just need to paint it. I'll add progress pics every so often for you guys to see. Now I also have a moderate sized catachan force that im using for the campaign that im working on, so those will be included as well. (WOW! somehow the campaign is on Nocturne!) There also may be some warhound titans...

That's a nice looking list of space marine goodness, of course the important question, are you going to paint the shoulder pad rims red in line with C:SM or have them all green like the books? I've read the first one, can't remember if there is a referance to the red rimmed shoulder pads or not. I listened to the firedrake audio drama, it's awsome! Most recommended

Well the shoulder rim is still green, but the dragon symbol is orange for the third company.

Isnt Telion an Ultramarine special character?

Yes, but the Ultramarines lend him out to other friendly chapters to spread his guidance to more space marines, it says so in his codex page.

I love the color scheme of the Salamanders but have never been able to bring myself to play them. Look forward to seeing an ocean of green!
