HQ:

Eldrad 210

Farseer 120
Doom, Fortune, Spirit Stones

Troops:

10 Dire Avengers 162 (Eldrad)
Exarch, Bladestorm, Power Weapon And Shimmershield

10 Dire Avengers 157 (Farseer)
Exarch, Bladestorm, A4 Catapault

8 Rangers 150

Elites:

10 Striking Scorpions 207
Exarch, Claw, Shadowstrike

5 Fire Dragons 215
Wave Serpent, TL Bright Lance

Heavy:

Wraithlord 140
Wraithsword, Bright Lance

Wraithlord 130
Wraithsword, Stacannon

Tactics For This List:

Eldrad And Farseer Will Go With 2 DA Squads, Casting Fortune To Give Them Re-Roll Saves And Doom To Re-Roll Wounds (Also Guide For Eldrad). Turn When They Can Assault I Will Move, Cast Doom and Fortune Then Bladestorm into the enemies (32 S4 AP5 Shots For Farseer's Unit, Re-rolling Wounds, 28 S4 AP5 Shots For Eldrad's Unit, Re-rolling hits and wounds.) In Combat Both Units will get Re-rolls to wound and their saves and as a bonus eldrad's unit will get to re-roll 5+ inv saves against those annoying power weapon units (such as Incubi).

Now I Know They Could Easily Get Blasted By Vindicator Shells And A Wave Serpent Should Be Used, But I Could Shield The Avengers With The Wraithlords, seeing as they work in their prime in the range of a farseer and this would give my guys a 4+ cover save

Rangers Will Camp Back (on an obj if take and hold or C&C) and hopefully most units (other than outflankers and templaters) shouldnt be a problem to them.

Striking Scorpions will outflank and hopefully assault in the turn they come in, meaning the full strength squad should do alot of damage, and then lastly you have the claw to deal extra wounds.

Fire Dragons will use WS to go forward, first turn move 12", second turn move 12" again, then get out and spam at a tank (or even a Terminator squadron, seeing as they have meltas) Moving 12" also means i get to fire the TL bright lance.

With the Wraithlords i know that the starcannon is the best option, i just needed more AT so chose one with a bright lance, it could always blow up a land raider.

Are you going for a Alaitoc theme list? If so this is faaaaaaaaarr from that.

Much much more pathfinder/rangerrs and harliquins needed

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Btw punch whomever is giving you tactical advice. Starcannons are the worst possible upgrad for wraithlord short of TL starcannons

Yeah this list doesn't scream Alaitoc to me. It actually kinda screams Ulthwè, what with a pair of Farseers, one of them named, and a bunch of Dire Avengers which are commonly used by Ulthwè players to represent Black Guardians.

If you want it to be themed toward Alaitoc, consider dropping Eldrad (I don't think hes necessary at 1,500 anyway), and those Wraithlords, replace the Scorpions with Harlequins, and take a unit or two of Warwalkers with Scatter Lasers, and another unit of Rangers. It might also be a good idea to drop one unit of Dire Avengers to mount the other in a Wave Serpent.

Unfortunately, Alaitoc uses units that aren't particularly effective in this edition of the game. Rangers and Pathfinders are WAY overpriced, Harlequins aren't as durable as Scorpions and cost more, and taking those two rarely leaves enough points to cover the rest of your bases.

Nah it's not supposed to be an Alaitoc themed list, i agree the units are highly overprised as the codex is quite old, i could look at painting my list Ulthwe colours as I do like the craftworld. On the list, i do see that the starcannon could be replaced, would you suggest to ML's on the Lords?

Kk now that we have the theme bit out of the way (unless you wanna theme Ulthwe, otherwise jsut paint it whatever you like and throw theme out the window)

Troops - These will die a horrific death without wave serpents, no, seriously. You are bladestorming with a PW/SS.. why? I'm assuming it's because that is the way it's modeled otherwise get Dual Catas on there. DA should never see CC period

Rangers - Suck. Too tired to math hammer it and repeat it again, but look through previous eldar lists posted here and I did a rant on them a while back.

Scorps - Will wander around the board at a 6" pace the whole game unless you manage to catch someone off guard. Claw, while cool and yay the only damn PF equiv we get... sucks on them since I1 means all those marines will swing at you before it hits and they will be wounding like mad thanks to T3.

Dragon's Wave Serpent - You have a brightlance on a dreaded anti-tank unit... mightly juicy target.

Wraithlords - Have 2 configs: BL/EML or Just Sword. Nothing else should be considered, and always Dual flamer
