Sadly, even the human/medium-sized minis are now (as opposed to Bones 1-3) all multi-part, so that's slowed me the hell down AND caused me to have to make a superglue run. SIGH.
Oh well!

It is one of life's better problems though having many minis to make and paint. Always fancied going in on the bones, don't suppose there will be any more like that. Would love to help you, bit far to go though.
Welp, I just bought two Armorcast Reavers and two Armorcast Warhounds, grand total under $800 with shipping.
Someone please kill me.
You can take my stuff.

At least it won't take long to paint them.
Right?
Well, with GW's uber-new-and-no-one-has-ever-thought-of-before dipping paints, it'll be a BREEZE.

I can take one of these new Warhound Titans to SL's "Knight Fight", right? Of course I can.

it seems you have made a great many mistakes and now you’re going to spend the rest of your life fixing them.
I can't tell if you're making a joke, or purposefully being mean.

Sadly I sold my old reaver a few months before the Forgeworld reaver was even displayed. , I will have to live my fourth childhood through you, I’m fully taking advantage of my third myself .

A friend of mine received a bunch of old D&D minis, we're talking Ral Partha classics here. His daughter decided she really liked four of them. I was asked if I would be up for talking with her about how she saw them, and if I would paint them for her. We chatted, I got the deets, and decided to go overboard, as I usually do for her. Since I have no kids, I get to spoil everyone else's. Fair, right? Right.
The diorama is removable, and 'hides' two boxes which contain the minis (with padding) and a third box with some 'treasure' to find.
Not my absolute best work, but good enough.

That diorama looks great Brian, and really nicely done in more than one meaning. I expect she will treasure that
Also that's cool that you got your hands on those old Armorcast titans, how hard were they to find?
Meer_Cat wrote:That is _so_ cool- and a very nice thing to do besides! Add a music box, and you're a triple threat! Well done.
There's no bard in the party, else I would have.

Well, they appear on ebay regularly. But, in this case, I got AMAZINGLY lucky to have found them for, basically, under $200 each. And having free cash. So I went for 'em because I always wanted them. Way more than the FW ones which came out later. These are true to the Epic/Adeptus Titanicus versions, whereas FW are 'newer' and while more detailed, lack the character of the Epic sculpts. YMMV.

Thank you! Every once in a while, I get to 'do good'.

And so, having pushed hard, another project is completed. Perfection is the enemy of done, and I forgot to matte-seal the Warlord Titan.
Oh well!
Enjoy "The Showdown", I suggest listening to this while perusing the photographs:

Yes, the up close pictures ruin EVERYTHING.

PS: These are literally some of the first minis I ever owned, bought in 1989. 30 years of GW.

I concur , wasn’t thinking Titan battle, but now after the fire I just remember the old white Dwarf article “that’s when things went nuclear”

Thanks, y'all. It feels good to be finishing projects again.
Speaking of which, let's get back to this gal...
Still pondering an overall paint scheme, tempting to go with blue/gold/cream but I always default to blue.
I'd like to work with the gold foil I have one the one pauldron, so any suggestions for my Titan House colour scheme? I'm open to anything other than blue, and red, as I'm trying to AVOID painting an Ad-Mech Haus. Leaning towards Purple, could also continue the Emerald Green from the diorama's Warlord Titan?
Lemme hear 'em!
Note: Due to the EPIC BACKLOG of projects, I'm going to be painting the majority of things to a tabletop standard, that looks good in a display case under the three foot rule. POWER PAINTING.
