I've done quite a few for my Fiancée, she's had nearly my entire my old DA army (collected back before they had any special plastics).

Aside from the paintjob just throwing space wolves heads on any bare headed marines helps a lot, but if you've got the funds then just mix in bits from the Space Wolves box and if you're up to it, greenstuffing pelts here and there helps a lot too. If you're feeling particularly adventurous and have some bare headed marines you can't remove the heads from you can greenstuff beards and other hairyness.

I also try to keep aquillas and purity seals to an absolute minimum since neither are really a Space Wolf thing.

just buy a single grey hunter box and you get enough bits to convert 3-4x that number of figs. just strip the models and rip off a fair amount of head; then just add wolf tails, icons, etc as well as SW heads and you'll have more space wolf bling than most 2nd and 3rd edition SW armies.

The Space Wolf pack has enough parts to make a Grey Hunter squad and customize more than enough regular tac Marines.
