Brilliant, I am just starting a SW list, can I ask what you put in the other drop pod. I see you have 3 troops in them and the terms but the other pod?

The other pod is empty. I do this so I can have an odd number of Pods which allows me to bring more in on turn 1.

Im glad to hear your making a pod list. Not many people run them and I am not to sure why.

Jaws just shuts down any nid list that uses Hive Guard and Tervigons. It's almost not even a challenge at that point for the space wolf player.

I have only seen one or two pod lists and they have won most of their games. I need to move on from my nob biker list and really like what you have done with you SW list.

Yeah I did notice that Jaws works out really really well against Nids. If you can keep him at a safe distance from the flyers and fleet units your golden.

@Dibigguy: Thanks for the comment. I only played 2 games so I cant say for sure that the Pod list is overall one of the best for SW, but so far its tough for me to find a huge weakness that can't be compensated for by the other units that are being fielded.

Hi Guys - Nice game

I found the report (and the last one) very interesting because a friend of mine and I are just getting back into 40k with Wolves and Nidz.

As a Nidz player, I was thinking one suggestion for the Nidz would be to try a brrod of Ymgarl's. I haven't play tested this myself yet, but It's on my "to do" list as I think they could be an invaluable way of dealing with heavy weapons squads (like Long Fangs).

I thought the Wolves did really well this game though, maybe just stay away from the sides a bit more if the stealers are flanking...
