As part of my new project (pre-heresy) i want to model a few of the Primarchs to use as counts as wolf/thunderlords. The plan is to Make the Primarchs using some of the true-scale techniques that alot of people here on dakka do so well.

So far i have started on an Alpharius conversion with him weilding a combi-plasma and Power sword. I want to have a bunch of different options for the HQ spot, so different lay-outs of weapons is what im after. My question is, what types of weapons did all of the primarchs use? This is what i (think i) know so far.

Corax- Jump pack, and twin lightning claws, However i did see that new picture of him with a whip i think it was
Mortarion- Scythe and "lantern" with grenades made from the atmosphere of barbaros
Angron- Huge chainaxe
Lorgar-a Mace
Curze - Also twin lightning claws and a jump pack?
Fulgrim- Daemon sword
Vulkan- I remember reading about a gun that ferrus mannus made him, that was top loading and styled like a dragon
Mannus- Thunder Hammer

I have 5 sets of legs left so i was hoping to do Corax plus 4 others for now. Any info on what weapons everyone used and general input on any other little known aspects of them would be greatly appreciated

Rowboat Gullyman probably just wielded a bolter and power sword and Sanguinius used a golden spear.

I envisioned Lorgar with a flanged mace, so its not just what weapon, but the style. And the famous Manreaper of Mortarion has also been done many many times with different takes on it.

As for Guiliman, did he not wield the fists of maccrage? essentially two powerfists, each with storm bolter built in?

Actually, he didn't, easy mistake though as the BA books say that it was the 'Spear of Telesto', but that was merely an invention for the book. He wielded a power sword, nothing else I don't think, just a power sword, and he had wings like an angel.

I have a file with lots of images of the primarchs lying around on my PC somewhere. I'll try and find it and post it up later today or tomorrow, maybe that'll help. Otherwise, try lexicanum for the Primarch's weapons.

I think dorn may have used a void weapon. The trouble is that they had a wide aresenal, and used all of it extensively, favoring trade-mark weapons. If you are going for trademarks.... then it might be a bit hard finding them all. I dont think Dorn has anything listed as yet

Lion el Johnson used the Lion Sword and the Lion Helm.

Lion Sword
