Posting reference is a damn good way to help. "Guys in Star Trek" is pretty freaking vague.

It's easy.
They're ALL redshirts.

Or did you mean spoonheads (Cardassians) or ridgeheads (klingons) or odo (bucket of vomit)?

Er... there are a lot of Star Trek uniforms. That's like saying Space Marines only have one color scheme.

Violence is not the answer, but it's always a good guess.

From memory all star trek security types wear fabric only. There are a couple of Guard torsos with tunics only, but you would have to do something special to find enough to kit out a whole army

Otherwise you would have to trim off the normal Cadian armour, or maybe GS tunics onto Catachan dudes. Either way its a lot of work.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Amen...though the uniforms are obviously different from the ones in Star Trek,I did similar conversions for my Praetorian Veteran squads using Cadian minis as the basis.
Shave off all the armour wit your hobby knife and then use GS to form and sculpt the tunics.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

It is the heads, I recon a bit of green stuff and a sculpting tool would do the job, and for the uniforms I think the Cadian bodies will work, and paint them accordingly to a rank.

There were some "commando" units in ST:V (the search for Shatner's ego) with body armour and all (and phasers with "magazines"), and in ST:VI.

Regular cadian torsos would be fine for them, and the Vox helmets.
