Hi Dakka,
Its thunderstorming here and Im looking for things to do on the interwebs...
After reading all the threads that I am interested in (and a few that I stumbled into, and liked) Im without something to do for the remainder of a stormy Sunday arvo.
I have read almost all my novels, and it is too humid to paint...
What ever can I do?
Please assist by posting links to your favourite hangouts, games, eComics...
Heck, I would even prefer a list of funny Facebook statuses that I can throw up and watch the resulting spam.

So basically you're asking us to entertain you, where's my paycheck?
( ps, I can create a cool video with myself naked doing an interpretive dance if you feel inclined )

Hope you have a powerbreaker.
If the electricity goes down and comes back on suddenly the power surge can do naughtyness to the computer.

For webcomics I usually look at; Servants of the Imperium, Nerf Now, Axe Cop, Looking for Group. F@nboy$ is also pretty good, but doesn't update often any more.
If you haven't read Turn Signals on a Land Raider you can check them out, its done but they have some good ones in the archives.
Funnyjunk and Motifake are good for fun pictures although some may not be age appropriate. Then there's the old Newgrounds, again some stuff may not be age appropraite but they have a rating system for content.

Alright seriously now. This will waste at least 4-6 hours. If you get hooked you could waste over a week.

If you can't figure it out, just say so and I will elaborate.

Copy the same pattern onto all the various instruments and it sounds great.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

Isn't it? Keep in mine you can add more sections. Increase tempo and it has like 8 different sounds. You can make some pretty neat music with it.

Just been playing with the overlay features.
I just drew a shape for the drums and it worked perfectly
It sounded pretty good which makes me suspicious that there is some prerecorded tune happenning cos I have no musical skills whatsoever!

Start reading through TvTropes.
In fact, I started this post two hours ago, went to find the Warhammer 40K page, and just now remembered I was in the middle of writing this. That's what a time sink it is.

Use Stumbleupon. Best time sink ever, or just read plenty of articles at cracked.com. Great website.
