I want to start an Ork army using a lot of the Forgeworld models. I want to start with one of the dreadnaughts either the Meka or the Mega dread. I've never seen them in person. Can someone who has give me their impression of them?

I'm curious are they the same size?
Are the arms interchangeable (can I use arms from the meka dread on the mega dread and vice versa)?
Can you comment on the quality of the kit? (I've never bought a FW model before).

Any other comments are very welcome.

Thanks!

While ive seen plenty of pics and the assembly of one, i dont own one.
Looks pretty decent, and im pretty sure the arms can be swapped out as they both have the same base design.

Quality control of FW is a changing thing im affraid.
Ive made orders before of 10-12 items and all were perfect, and then ive ordered something a few weeks later and it was beyond repair.

Just a case of hoping for the best.
If its slightly warped or damaged, fixing it is pretty simple, but thats not allways possible.
In which case you just mail them and send it back.
