Greetings fellow Tomb Lords. I have come to seek advice for an army worthy of serving the Star Gods. I have come to a list and is almost complete, but I will ask you all on what you think will be a better finishing touch. Here is what I have awaken thus far

Lord w/ Rez Orb,

10 Warriors

10 Warriors

4 Destroyers

4 Destroyers

4 Destroyers

1 Monolith

1 Monolith

And now I can't decide on what to add. I have four options to choose from.

1. Add more gear for the Lord, maybe Destroyer Body or something that gives more support. If I go with this option I'll be able to add another Destroyer or two.

2. 6 Immortals. I like have more shots and these guys will do that just fine, however, I think with two Monoliths and 12 Destroyers is a decent amount already.

3. 3 Tomb Spyders. This is the option that is really calling me. A great tag team to counter CC units with decent attacks and good toughness.

4. 10 more Warriors. This means even greater number of Necrons for Phase Out and more rapid fire goodness. And also another scoring unit for objective base games.

And thats it. I'm really looking at options 3 and 4 since I think they are the better picks I think. So share with me your thoughts, and let us Harvest the living.....the masters demand it.

I would honestly give your lord the destroyer body since it makes him immune to instant death and honestly he is gonna be a lascannon target on turn 1 (if he can get picked out) or really and time he can get picked out. Other then that seems like your sterotypical list from crons'

Have you thought about throwing the nightbringer in?

I always run two Lords, one on foot and one Destroyer, both with Res Orbs. Keep the foot one with your Warriors, send the Destroyer out with the others, and bring a Warscythe to go tank busting with.

I'd forgo the Tomb Spiders. While fun, I've rarely gotten my points cost out of them. Bring Scarab Swarms instead. Let them tie up those really choppy units for a turn until your Monoliths can get into place and then zap the holy crap out of them.

I can't stress this enough, bring as many models with the 'Necron' rule as possible. The fear of Phase Out can really screw up a decent battle plan.

I'd also look into Wraiths. Though they tend to end up as cannon fodder, if they get close enough, they can really mess up some tougher units.

3: I'd ignore that one.
A MC with 2W, WS and BS2 to start with is very bad news.

Keep in mind that once you have 1 scarab swarm, its fine, but after that the main T of the unit goes to them, not the T6 spider.

So, it kills its self, cant shoot gak and cant stab gak, about its only use is helping a res-orb, which doesent really need it.

1: I'd give him a scythe and Dbody.
Atleast then he has the mobility, decent toughness and is able to hunt armour if he needs to.

1:a: Could even squeeza a bit and grab a 2nd lord with veil.
The ability to move where you want will help to no end in an objectives game.
