I also don't think the warriors fit very well. They're not scary in CC nor threatening to anything in shooting outside of AV 10 and mediocre infantry.
My first T-fex conversion didn't have anywhere near big enough a gun to do the Rupture Cannon justice, so I count it as an Acid Spray.
The Warriors don't look scary until you're at Ws1 and they're at S5 Rending due to Swarmlord tomfoolery; I do plan to add a Barbed Strangler to them, though, for pinning and wound spreading.
To date, Acidfex has killed more than its points worth in each game; largely from being underestimated and piling templates on infantry, then charging a vehicle when the opportunity arises. Today was no exception.
Opponent had two Stormravens, each carrying a Furioso, one carrying Terminators. Deployed with them were two Assault Squads with Reclusiarchs, and an Outflanking Baal Predator with more flamey death than the end of Terminator 2.
Rupture Cannon and Hive Guard kept the Stormravens pinned down whilst the Assault Squads overextended themselves. As a Furioso staggered out of a downed Stormraven and tripped over terrain, Zoanthropes vaped it whilst the Acidfex ignored it and wiped out most of an Assault Squad, which the Hormagaunts moped up with Swarmlord support. The remaining Assault Squad tried to win back a kill point from the Hormagaunts (the last two legged it), and for their troubles got Zoanthroped. Hard. The Reclusiarch was forced to roll a save against an Impaler Cannon, which he failed, and the Swarmlord trampled the remaining Marine whilst a Rupture Cannon shot down one Stormraven (dumping the Terminators miles away from a target) and Acidfex jumped up and down on the immobilised other until it was a pancaked wreck.
Seven
KP to zero, and the gaming club called time on tables, saving the Terminators the trouble of walking towards a bored Swarmlord sat in a near untouched firebase.
