That's right, I am looking for commission work to get me some $$ for some Grey Knights. In the past I have typically charged flat rates for painting services based on model price. That rate is usually 50% of the model cost w/ a minimum of 25$. So a tactical squad would cost you $25 for a commission job and Storm Raven would cost you $33.00 That is the basics, level of detail colors used and other variables can effect price either way. I may be interested in painting entire armies, but please contact me about specifics.

I live in the states and prefer to do business in the states, let me know if your interested!!

Awesome stuff, especially the Snow Speeder and the Terminator.

Any chance of a Step-by-Step on said Terminator? Or would you rather keep the tricks of the trade up your sleeve?

Either way, best of luck with the commission business. Shame you're not in the UK. I'd recommend you look into having your own site, even if it's real simple. There are tons of free hosts out there. I'd suggest Yola.

I have a deathwing terminator with a standard. The termie is painted but I am horrible at freehand banner painting. I would like the banner painted up as the Deathwing Company Standard. Are you able to do that and if so do you have any examples of any freehand banner you may have done.

VERY nice looking work.
Do you have any references from people we'd know (Dakka members, known members of other web sites, etc)?

Thanks.

I can't vouch for Redfinger's commission service but I did just recently have a positive trade with him for what it's worth.

@Bigyounk I havent actually tried my hand at banners yet, so I honestly dont know how one would turn out, would be fun to try though. Feel free to contact me, my contact info is on my blog or you can PM me here and we can see if we can work something out.

@Magikal Because I have been playing 40k for only a year I really haven't done too much 40k commission work, however I have done quite a bit of "model" commission work, like WWII, automotive, sci-fi, ect...I have references on ebay, some at bartertown, and generally speaking I am not into screwing people over, what goes around comes around.

agusttus5 Thanks you for the positive feedback, appreciate it.

Just wondering, What is the turn around time on something like a Dark Eldar Raider or Ravager?

If it is assembled I could probably have it painted , and back to you within 1 week of receiving it, un-assembled maybe 2.
