So I was essentially going to try and make a space hulk themed 'nid army. only problem is that I can't decide which HQ lends itself best to being on a space hulk. any Ideas?

I would go for a Prime.

However, the old patriarch model would be quality for this as it fits the theme.

Been meaning to try and get a stealer themed army together for a while now, but my crons keep pushing it back :(

Are you talking about something along the lines of a giant broodlord that counts as a prime?

You are right about one thing though: this list will be mostly, if not all, genestealer.

Could try and bring some lictors into it if you wanted.

While they arent able to cause tons of damage, they look quality and would provide alot in a hulk. (invisible creature crawling through a ship, whats not to like?)


Also, if your going for theme over competative, Ymgarl stealers would be pretty nice.
Dont get me wrong, they are ace and do alot of damage, but they cost too much in points.

My whole idea behind this list was a genestealer infestation upon a space hulk. the list will most likeley be just a complete swarm of genestealers. but a lictor here or there could mix nicely.

Ymgarl have some interesting fluff, but like you said, not all that cheap.

A Prime with a pair of Boneswords and Scything Talons functions almost identically to the old Broodlord. You just need to differentiate this one from the remaining broodlords (who uses the actual broodlord profile) in your army.

I've heard good things about the Ymgarl, and if your restricted from using other units, you may wanna consider it. Deathleaper too, since his weapons basically makes him into a giant stealer that cant be shot at outside of 18 inches.
