Hi

I introduce Giant Hobby new miniature company from japan.
(Note: I'm not their staff.)

I've talked designers today. In their own shop at Tokyo.
They said they are planning game system for their minis.
“The Game is going to be more like board game”,they told me.
Other than that,I have no information about the game.

Anyway, have a look at fantasy miniatures.
They have humans, elves, dwarfs. But I like their monsters.
So in this thread,I introduce monsters from Giant Hobby.

Spear Mash (hyphae monster? Not Ork. fungus man.)

Poison Mash(It seems fungus man with Poisoned Knife. I bought this one Today.)

Myconid Predator Rider(Fungus Man cavalry?)

Stone Golem (Golem made of Stone.)

Alastor The Quad hands ( 4 hand are seems quite handy)

Hunter Crab (Crab which hunt something. Human? Maybe.)

Behemos (Evil guy on Evil looking skull mono cycle)

Check Other miniatures at their online store. (メタルミニチュア is category Metal Miniatures)
Giant Hobby Online Store (Japanese only)
http://www.giant-hobby.com/shop/html/index.php

Currently they don't ship miniature outside Japan. But they said they are planning international shipping in near future.
Wait for new info.

Skull Mono Cycle is WIN!.
The Golem I'm bleh about, but it is quite unique.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

CHAOS UNICYCLE! Thank god I am not buying models I don't need anymore, because that would totally have a place in my closet of "This is cool, but I won't remember why in a few months." I can see myself planning an army around that model.

That thing is too cool. Might have to pick one up, maybe put a different rider in it.

Well, if they get a site with english on it. Im not playing guessing games ordering in a foreign language.

Would be even better if someone like FRPgames or thewarstore picked up the line.

Runnin up on ya.

Um.....wow, incredibly expensive. 5,800yen for that skull unicycle demon.....that's more than $60 (USD).

But this one is begging to be a chaos dwarf earthshaker or something....

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

That first mash would be perfect for my orc and goblin army. In the army book it states that some Night Goblin Shaman eat so many fungi that they start turning into Shamanshrooms. It be great for my Night Goblin Great Shaman.

Some average and some really good miniatures.

My favorites are these "Eshin Jezzails" (plus the omits, Infighters and Mashes), though the miniatures are not exactly cheap.

Obviously they are the military arm of the Jawas! Combat goggles act as reverse sunglasses to prevent their glowing eyes from being noticed, while being draped in less pointy robes allows them to hide behind rocks better.

Little known fact: Jawas did not have a military until after the stormtrooper massacres of very long ago. True story.

They look like fairly good quality, but no-where near good enough for the price, you could probably get your own model custom sculpted for that.

They are charming but not my cup of tea in general. The jawas are great though.

Those guys really look cool.

How much for the uh.. Jawa's?

I could pick up a few and use them for.... non-Hrud.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

There are some cool looking models there.

The trouble is the price. With current exchange rate, a 1,300 yen Poison Mash Fungus or a ClanMole is about £10.00 before VAT.

$15 to $16 USD.

I think they are unique... yet the consensus is over-priced... unless you are used to buying minis in AUS... in which case only a few are ridiculous.

The hunter-crab is something very few alternatives exist for.
