I was wondering if anyone has ever used these before? Can I use them with the GW Land Raider Crusader and GW Rhino/Razorback kits? Or are they too small or large and don't fit?

Thanks

Not really sure what you are asking? The rhino/RB doors and and front plate are made for GW rhino/RB kits, same for the LR extra armor/doors/front plate. I have the Termi LR doors/front plate on a crusader, and I have a chaos rhino with the spaced extra armor. Hope this helps.

You will probably have issues with the spaced armour. The last set I put together onto a model were warped badly, AND the cavities in them for hatches were too small for both the original plastic hatches/fittings AND the resin 'specialist' hatches due to shrinkage during casting.

The doors and hatches may fit fine in the plastic vehicles without the resin armour add-ons though. I never thought to check as the clubmate who needed it done specified the armour AND the new doors.

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

I'm wondering the same thing, since I'm going to get Deathguard Rhino doors.

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

Ya I've heard things like that as well with the warping of the doors and hatches. That's the reason why I was curious. Seems Eltharion213 though hasn't had any issue..I don't want to get it and have it all messed up when I ordered it :/

I have both the spaced armour and reinforced armour for the Land Raider. My FIRST set of reinforced armour, the pieces were all too small, and neither the plastic doors, the resin upgrade doors or even the weapon mounts would fit. Had to get those replaced, but the doors themselves were fine.

It's really luck of the draw with FW it seems. If I can figure out where the battery charger for the camera has got to I'll take a photo of my WIP LRC with spaced armour.

Just a handful...

I just picked up a set of land raider doors and they do seem small. They will fit, but I'm going to have to try and evenly space it in the middle.

Unfortunately I got them off ebay so I don't think I can try and get replacements :-\

I've used a set of BA and DA Rhino doors, and while being a little bit warped, they were of very good quality. It took a little bit of filing to get them down to size, but they do add such a lot of character to an otherwise blandish model. The only quarm I've had with them is that the paint chips off them easily, particularly on promiment areas such as the BA blood drops.

Did you wash them with warm soapy water before painting them? Paint chipping sounds like they weren't cleaned thoroughly.

The extra armour hatches for the door, the frame surrounding them, NEVER EVER fits the resin doors or the plastic ones. I have a over a dozen kits, spaced and reinforced armour for 8 rhinos, 2 whirlwinds and a vindicator and I had them send me replacement parts for every single kit and not a single door fit in any of them, not one. Abject failure for forgeworld's cheap resin and casting methods. The stuff shrinks when they remove from the mold is their issue. God, nobody else has this issue I've ever purchased resin from.

Eye of Terra.

You MUST wash all plastic and resin parts with a bit of soap and water. Use an old toothbrush to gently go over the miniature. This removes mold release and finely scores the parts so that your primer and paint will have something to get hold of.

If you have warped parts, try using a pot with hot water (you'll need to experiment) and dip the part for a bit then remove and gently bend the part back into shape. You may have to do this many times. I've always had success.

This doesn't work when the parts are critically flawed.
