Well the title is pretty obvious, I want a discussion on which unit there is the best choice?

I love bloodletters, I won't lie. If they charge anything short of a walker/ Av 12 they're great. Cons being the price tag, the relative fragility and how the best way to ensure survival is having a large squad, but at their price thats not a good thing. Also the slowest of the three, so deep strike location and scatter matter oh so much more.

Daemonettes I have very little experience with, but being cheaper and more attacks with rending and fleet is a pretty sweet deal, hit and run is situational and offensive grenades and high I is a godsend. However at T3 5+ they are glorified guardsmen in terms of survivalbility. Sure they'll get the save but its so easy to drown them in wounds with T3, Im unsure of the correct application of these units so advise would be nice.

Seekers- most expensive of the three, with the exact same profile as a Daemonette, apart from the increased mobility. Seriously I have used this unit several times and was gob smacked by the charge range that caught most players completely unaware. move 6, fleet and then charge 12 is just awesome but in terms of killing power vs price I am left unimpressed, I find rending uneffective since with Str 3 its 5+ to wound MEQ and if any survive, the unit is going to be trashed completely. On the bright side, a small unit of 5 is a excellent 'missle' to launch at a Rhino/Razor back and see it dead.

Any advise/tips/tactics concerning these units, or just opinions on the best one and why?

Unfortunately, daemonettes can't get hit and run. That would make them much better. The only unit of the three I've tried so far is seekers. I use a small group to DS behind terrain, then charge heavy weapons to just keep them from shooting for a few turns, and maybe kill something if I'm lucky. Works pretty well actually, lol.

Are you going for a specific theme? Or are you restricted money/model wise.

+1 Str for like 5 points? To autocannons or assault cannons? Hell yea. Then the Reinforced Aegis upgrade for free AND the ability to ignore stunned shaken.. pretty much for free..
Other Dreadnaughts should just go somewhere and be a toaster.

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.

Seekers have one more attack than Daemonettes. I haven't used Bloodletters but Seekers are a good deal better than Daemonettes. They have a much larger threat range with their charges, the larger base enables them to ream more units as well and to multiassault more effectively. The extra attack also make a huge difference.

Sadly none of these have Hit and Run (that comes standard on Fiends who are undeniably better than either one of these).

Seekers are probably the strongest unit of these three - I wish they could hold objectives. The real issue with Slaanesh is fleet used to be much better when only fleet units could run. They do not have as much of a speed /deepstrike advantage as they used to.

It's kind of an odd comparison...2x troops vs 1x fast attack unit?

I'm using both Bloodletters and Daemonettes in my fledgling daemon army. Somehow I managed to get 40 Daemonettes so they're gonna get used one way or another. Seems like everybody tells me they're going to dissappoint me, but that's what everybody said about Ratlings in IG and but those have been more than satisfactory for me (for the points anyway).

I think the Bloodletters are going to do most of the heavy lifting though. We'll see as soon as I get them all painted up.

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.

Observations on complex unit wound allocation: If you're feeling screwed, your opponent is probably doing it right.

2 troop and a FA?
All 3 units have a very different use aswell.

Letters - I love them, but thats mainly down to playing against alot of 3+ saves and wing armies. (death and logan mainly)
Against basic guardsmen, they arent really ideal and your losing the edge from them.
Thats not to say they wont tear through them quickly though.
Yes, they are fast, but they are T4 aswell, so thier lack of movement does have some form of a counter measure.
Also, make sure you have an icon, atleast then you can drop them where you need them most.
Best of running a unit of 10 or so unless you know your playing against armour.
Then you take 2-3 units instead.

Nettes - Fast shock troops really.
Idea is to rely on thier weight of attacks ending an assault in the 1st turn, as once it starts to draw out they will die pretty quickly.
Low toughness means you will be getting shot to bits, and quickly.
In combat the rending makes them a little better, but not much unless its something T6+

Seekers - Love these too.
Like the nettes, they are highly mobile (even more so in this case) than pretty much anything else in the book.
Again, they rely on a high number of attacks winning the combat as quickly as possible.
However, they make great missiles.
Launch them into combat with any unit that will give you problems. (termies if letters arent about to do it)
The ammount of attacks should give you enough rends to do some good damage.

The other use i have for them is a small unit of 5 with an icon.
These are my beacon unit.
I simply move them to where i need another unit and let them drop in on the icon.
Once thats done they run to the next area and let another unit land by them.
You get the idea though, they are simply to stop unwanted scatters.

Seekers are absolutely devastating, and quite cheap too for what they do. However, they suffer (as do daemonettes) from the same problems as bloodletters. As soon as they land, they are going to be eating massive light firepower.

However, out of the three units discussed, they are the best choice by a country mile. So flexible in terms of speed, a large unit well spread out can charge almost anything on the table. You will almost always be going first as well because of Aura of Acquiescence. One tactic I like with them, is to swarm light transports and hope that I wreck them (not explode). With their mobility, its easy to surround such vehicles and prevent the unit inside from disembarking.

bloodletters: very hard hitting. DS into cover and then jump out and eat SM. Then, watch them get ripped apart by the ensuing bolter fire.

nettes: good for charging in to help finish off enemy squads but can only realisticly run around with everything else locked in combat. dont send them into combat alone. honestly, i have never seen this squad hold an objective for more than a turn.

seekers: same as above but better at it.

daemonettes < seekers < fiends

simple as that.

Ty for all the advise. I was thinking of running a Skarband Khorne/Slaanesh list for the hell of it, so I am prob gonna stock up on plenty of seekers and netts. I must have like 40+ letters lurking around and quite afew crushers.
