I don't see any Islam in there. Just turkey, Turkey, and bikinis.

I know Turkey is predominantly muslim, but the commercial itself makes no reference to that.
But in all seriousness I'm putting too much thought into a silly commercial.

The advertisment makes no reference to Islam, so I don't see this as Capitalism + Islam anymore than I view a McDonalds add as Capitalism + Christianity. Am I missing something here?

This.
Yeh, for someone so smug and self-satified with your education and position... you sorta failed there.
I deem this Troll Food Thread of the Week.

Also, some people might miss a joke.
You're aware that Norway isn't a Muslim country, right? (at least, not predominantly Muslim; if "Muslim country" means a country with Muslims living there, that would be most of the world).
I was specifically thinking of Turkey, half of which is geographically (and all of which, at some point in the future may be politically) located in Europe.

How do you get "half" geographically located in Europe? 90%+ of Turkey is Anatolia (Asia).

I merely assumed that you as an American were unaware of the muslim countries that aren't in the middle east.

The Middle East is in West Asia

Man, this makes me hungry for both a burger and a holiday amongst pretty girls eating burgers. The girls can be Islamic or not, it doesn't matter too much to my apathetic atheist nature.

Yes but I was referring more to Eastern Asians as opposed to Arabs.
Yeah I know what you were really trying to say, it's just that East Asia's monopoly on the word "Asian" annoys me for some odd reason.
We're Asian too!
Anyway, don't worry about it, I'm just being nit-picky.
