My Kabal of the Smoldering Spire. Gonna be very Kabalite heavy, as I'm loving the poisoned weapons rules. Started painting up the first squad, trying to figure out a faster way of painting them though because I've only got 6ish done/almost done so far.

Anyone know a good black primer that isn't the GW brand? Mine ran out resently so I've been forced to use the spare white I have around and likes to rub off plastic.

I definitely like the colors you've chosen. As far as faster painting goes...I'm not the one to answer that. I be slower than molassess going uphill in the winter.

That is some insane blending on the armour! really get a flamey-smouldery-firey thing going on with the black and gunmetal!

As for primers, I use the standard GW black, but people here have been singing praises for 'army painter' brand stuff and bog standard automotive primers for as long as I can remember.

To speed things up, stop sleeping!

I like the colors you use for your warriors .
But I have the feeling, that the final yellow highlight is made with undiluted paint. I think you should mix more water into the yellow for a smoother blending.

Great Name and some nice painting so far. I think the Magma/amber style really suits the Dark eldar. Check out Paz's 'the deeper well' for a similar scheme that looks really nice.

Great color scheme, and well executed, too. A whole army of these villains is going to look mesmerizing and sinister.

2 - The hobbiest - The guy who likes the minis for what they are, loves playing with painted armies, using offical mini's in a friendly setting. Wants to play on boards with good terrain.

Just got the resin bases I ordered in today. Now I just need to put together the other 2 squads of Kabalite Warriors and then I can prime and base them.
