The Dark Angel Ravenwing Battleforce looks pretty cool but can anyone tell me what the 2 man bike is? Is that the ravenwing sergeant and does that mean that you can't make 2x3 man ravenwing squads out of it? I don't see a separate entry in the codex for the 2 man bike so I'm assuming that it is the sergeant but in that case, I thinks it's a bit poo because it would be cool if you could make 2x3 man bike squads out of it and then also have the landspeeder.
Secondly, does the Ravenwing Battleforce box come with the weapon options to upgrade your bikes and landspeeder to take the meltas?
That would be the Attack Bike, which is an upgrade for the RAS.
It even says that in the description for the Battle Force.

Should have it for the Speeder and Attack Bike. The plastic Bike sprues don't have any weapons but the Bike's bolters(and only the straight ahead driver arms) and the only weapons(aside from power sword arms for Master of the Ravenwing Speeder and Bike Sarge) on the Ravenwing Upgrade Sprue are for the Speeder(2 Assault Cannons w/ 2 mounts, Typhoon Launchers, and Twin-linked Heavy Bolters For the MotRW to be used with both Assault Cannons on the same mount). If you want Biker Meltas, convert some from Pistol arms and spare Meltas.

So, you don't get the meltas for the bikes but you do get mutli meltas for the Landspeeder and attack bike, plus assault cannons and typhoon missile launchers, one of which you can add to the landspeeder. Not too shabby. Would be better if you got a couple of meltas, but still it looks like a pretty good deal all in all.
I have multimelta and an assault cannon on my landspeeder.
And I have multimelta on my attack bike. Its a great set you get lots of bits. of course b accident GW gave me an extra sprue of the ravenwing. (God bless their stupidty)
SO instead of getting the regular 3 big ravenwing sprues. I got 4. ( )

Personally, I'm a purist: Heavy Bolter and Assault Cannons are the only things allowed to touch my Speeders and Multi-melta only Attack Bikes.
That's been the traditional RW load outs since 2nd ed and their first Codex, I don't see a reason to change it up now.

Well I have other forces like tactical squads to deal with troops. And my bikes deal with the heavy vechiles of course I am going to get more bikes, as they look so damn cool.
The models themselves look awesome.

Ah. That might be it. My chapter likes having advanced weaponry, so they have everything new, like long barrelled bolters (+6" range!)
But yeah I can see that, But Dark Angels Ravenwing has to give you one of the largest amounts of bits ever.
